Free Radicals as Number One Cause of Wrinkled Skin
Free radicals are also one of the main causes of wrinkles. They are quite unstable molecules consisting of electrons having no other coupled electrons. They are the result of bad habits like smoking, drinking alcohol and bad diet. Free radicals immediately upon entry of the body start to search for other healthy molecules so they can steal their electrons and get in the stable state again.
As the consequence of this “act” new molecules become free radicals, which will create a chain reaction in the body and result in destruction of many healthy cells, also those present in our skin. One of the best ways body tries to cope with this causes of wrinkles is to send antioxidants to fight free radicals and restore health to the cells.

Consume a lot of fresh organic vegetables and fruits, which are rich in vitamins A, C and E. Vitamins from fruit and vegetables are one of the most easily consumable antioxidants and should be a part of our diet every day. Don’t take food supplements unless you are unable to acquire fresh food, because the more natural our food intake is, the more benefits we bring to our body.
Gravity and Everyday Usage of Muscles Cause Lines and Creases
Gravity is something we cannot avoid, just like aging cannot be avoided. While gravity is also one of the causes of wrinkles you should not be alarmed; follow general rules for everyday skin-care and you should be just fine.
As we move, jump or simply stand still, gravity is influencing our body and is causing skin to lose the ability to bounce back into former shape. Over the years this continuous pulling on the loose skin creates facial wrinkles and lines over our entire body.
Muscles on our face are constantly in use and this often grimacing and repetitions of the same facial expressions are great causes of wrinkles and should be kept to minimum as much as possible. You should be aware that even the best anti-aging creams won’t be able to lessen the appearance of lines, wrinkles and crease that are the result of grimacing and facial mimics.
